Yacht Aground
At 1208 today we were tasked to a yacht that had run aground on the sandbank opposite Perch Light.
We made our way to Deganwy to locate and keep observations on the vessel. As we observed the vessel, 3 people could be seen around the boat and then starting to walk towards West Shore. We made our way to the West Shore and spoke to the Conwy Council Seaboard Inspector to make him aware of the situation.
We then went to meet the 3 people from the boat to make sure they did not require any assistance. After ensuring that they would be comfortable attempting to re float the vessel at high tide we left them with safety advice and headed back to station.

Water Rescue Angel Bay
We were called at 11:29 this morning to Angel Bay on the Little Orme to reports of a female in the water. We made our way to the scene where we were updated that Llandudno's inshore lifeboat, Helimed and RAF Rescue 122 were making their way to the scene.
When we arrived on scene we could see a number of officers and a paramedic on the clifftop overlooking the scene. We liaised with a police officer who updated us on the situation.
As we looked over into the bay we could see the ILB and the crew performing CPR on the female. RAF rescue 122 was less than 30 seconds away so it was decided that the best option was to winch her up and take her to Hospital as soon as possible.
RAF Rescue 122 arrived on scene and quickly winched the woman off the boat and into the helicopter and transported her to Glan Clwyd hospital where her condition is unknown a this time.
We made sure that our assistance was no longer required and we returned to station by 12:30

Channel 16
At 11:45 this morning we were tasked by Holyhead MRCC to search for a vessel which was transmitting on VHF Channel 16 thus blocking all other traffic including Emergency messages.
Holyhead MRCC also launched Rhyl Lifeboat, Llandundo Lifeboat and also Beaumaris Lifeboat to try and locate the vessel.
We received information from Holyhead MRCC that the transmission was only being recieved by the Great Orme Radio Mast, not moving and at compass bearing of between 200° and 320°.
We switched one of the handheld radios to our working channel and the vehicle radio to Channel 16. We Started the search around the Orme where the signal was slightly broken but as we came around to the West Shore side of Marine drive the signal got stronger and we could begin to hear conversations in the background.
As we headed into Deganwy Marina we could hear the conversation clearly and were able to decipher that it was coming from a boat on land that was having maintenance carried out on it. As we searchd the Marina we continued to monitor channel 16 and heard the name of a boat maintenance firm based in Conwy.
We headed over to Conwy Marina where we could still hear talking and power tools in the background and requested the Marina Manager went to have a quick look for a boat being worked on. As we pulled into the car park, the Manager appeared and had located the Boat.
The boat was being rewired so the equipment needed to be turned on the ensure it was working. The PTT Button on the radio had been inadvertently pressed and was transmitting constantly.
After making sure with Holyhead MRCC that the Channel 16 was clear we gave some advice and returned to station at 14:15.

Missing Person
We were called this evening to reports of a possible missing person in Conwy. North Wales Police contacted Holyhead Coastguard to report that a person may have jumped from the Bridge in Conwy.
When the pagers went off, one team member was nearby so made his way directly to scene to liaise with the police. When he arrived a taxi driver pulled up and asked if they were looking for someone matching a description of a person he had just dropped off.
The team member quickly ascertained that the description did match the one given and obtained the address from the taxi driver.
More team members turned up on scene and were updated on the situation. We were briefed by the police who then went to the address given to ensure that the person the taxi dropped off was the right person.
We remained on scene until it was confirmed that the person was found safe and well at his home address.
We were then stood down and returned to station.
