Water Rescue Angel Bay

We were called at 11:29 this morning to Angel Bay on the Little Orme to reports of a female in the water. We made our way to the scene where we were updated that Llandudno's inshore lifeboat, Helimed and RAF Rescue 122 were making their way to the scene.

When we arrived on scene we could see  a number of officers and a paramedic on the clifftop overlooking the scene. We liaised with a police officer who updated us on the situation.

As we looked over into the bay we could see the ILB and the crew performing CPR on the female. RAF rescue 122 was less than 30 seconds away so it was decided that the best option was to winch her up and take her to Hospital as soon as possible.

RAF Rescue 122 arrived on scene and quickly winched the woman off the boat and into the helicopter and transported her to Glan Clwyd hospital where her condition is unknown a this time.

We made sure that our assistance was no longer required and we returned to station by 12:30
