At 1208 today we were tasked to a yacht that had run aground on the sandbank opposite Perch Light.
We made our way to Deganwy to locate and keep observations on the vessel. As we observed the vessel, 3 people could be seen around the boat and then starting to walk towards West Shore. We made our way to the West Shore and spoke to the Conwy Council Seaboard Inspector to make him aware of the situation.
We then went to meet the 3 people from the boat to make sure they did not require any assistance. After ensuring that they would be comfortable attempting to re float the vessel at high tide we left them with safety advice and headed back to station.
